SARTA & CCS Team Up Again This Year

Our partnership with SARTA allows students in grades 7–12 who are in good standing to receive a free SARTA bus pass for travel anywhere SARTA goes. Parents: Keep an eye on ParentSquare for information on how to sign your student up. This year, we’re expanding the program to include a Travel Training session, giving students hands-on experience with riding the bus, reading schedules, and navigating routes. Look for more details once the session is scheduled.

Feed Hunger First: Supporting Our Students and Families

Feed Hunger First, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity “one child at a time,” continues to make a meaningful impact across our district. Through its Feed Kids First School Pantry Program, launched in 2020, the organization helps fill critical food gaps by connecting schools with community resources.

This year, the program is proudly supporting 14 Canton City School Buildings. 

Services include Emergency School Food Pantries, Holiday and Summer Meal Boxes, and snacks for students throughout the year. 

We’re grateful for this ongoing partnership that helps ensure our students and families have the nutrition and support they need to succeed—both in and out of the classroom.
