Welcome to the Canton City School District website. Here you will find all the latest news on the great things happening in our schools, as well as important information you need for your student and family to have a great education experience.
We are proud to be the largest school district in Stark County serving over 8,500 students. The Canton City School District offers a wide variety of strong academic, vocational, fine arts, athletic, forensic, and other extracurricular activities.
Our teachers, principals, and other administrators share a common goal of success for our students and they are working together to align curriculum and ensure high quality leadership and instruction district wide.
Please take some time to find out about our ever-growing opportunities for family and community engagement. Our students need the support and participation of families and the Canton community. Many local businesses, community groups, and institutions of higher learning donate their time and resources to our children and we welcome more partnerships. If you would like to be a mentor or volunteer, please click on the Students, Staff and Community Support link where you will find an application. We also welcome our families to actively participate in the school environment.
The Canton City School District is quickly transforming from "the school of today" to "the school of tomorrow." We are embracing innovative teaching and learning and offering a safe and secure learning environment.
