Canton City Schools has partnered with the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) to provide free transportation for all secondary students (grades 7-12) within the SARTA service area. This initiative enhances students' mobility, helping them access job opportunities, community resources, and essential services.

How to Access Free Transportation
To receive a free SARTA pass, students must:

  • Be enrolled in Canton City Schools (grades 7-12)
  • Maintain good academic standing, attendance, and behavior
  • Complete the application process

Important Details:

  • Eligibility: Only students who meet academic, attendance, and behavior requirements and complete the application will receive a pass.
  • Supplemental Service: This pass is supplemental and does not replace district-provided yellow bus transportation.
  • Pick-Up: Students can collect their SARTA pass sticker from their school’s main office (McKinley High School students should visit their Team office).
