The information that we would normally house within the Staff Intranet is now in a Google folder called District Resources. This is located in your District Google Drive under Shared Drives. If you do not see this drive, then make sure you are logged in with your District Google account and/or watch the video for additional troubleshooting steps. If you are unable to locate a document in the District Resource folder, then please contact the specific department.

  • Employees of CCSD can open enroll their students, tuition free, into our programs by using the Tuition Reimbursement Waiver Form.  Click the following links for the form and more information.

    There is a scholarship opportunity available for OAPSE Members.  
    OAPSE/AFSCME Memorial Scholarship ($2,500) is for graduating high school seniors only.  Applications must be postmarked NO LATER than March 1, in order to be considered. Members may contact Julie Langanke for applications - or click the following for the

    Dianne Talarico Education Scholarship Applications 
    Applications for The Dianne Talarico Education Scholarship are now being accepted for the 2023-2024 academic year.  This scholarship is offered in memory of Dianne Talarico, who served as Superintendent of the Canton City Schools from 2001-06. DTESA offers scholarships to Canton City School graduates and/or children of current or retired employees of the Canton City School District, regardless of the high school that they attended, who are pursuing a career in the field of education. To qualify, students must be attending college or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program.  Applications must be completed and returned by April 15, 2023.   • If you have a license that will expire on June 30th:

    Submit your transcripts for license renewal to Rhonda Conrad, Human Resources, Administration Center BEFORE submitting your application to ODE.

    Before you apply for your license you need to have 6 semester hours, or 180 hours PD for your new license. The date ODE is open for new license applications is November 1st with the Ohio Department of Education Website.

    All LPDC forms and resources are accessible through Frontline. Please choose Growth Management from the drop-down menu on the left. 

    It is state-mandated that an approved IPDP (Individualized Professional Development Plan) is on file BEFORE any coursework that you want to use for your license renewal.

    Contact hours for CEU conversion are accepted for the previous 12 months only.

  • It is time to start thinking about renewing your Educational Aide Permits, Monitor Permits and 5-year Associate Licenses for the 2023-2024 school year.  

    All Educational Related staff requiring an Educational Aide Permit, Student Monitor or 5-year Associates License that will expire June 30must be renewed before the start of the next school year to be permitted in the classroom.

    To ensure your continued employment for the upcoming school year, you must have evidence that you have completed the online renewal application and obtained the proper educational certification by July 30th. (AIM staff by July 14).
