Bulldog Pride, Citywide!
McKinley/Massillon week is almost here, and we’re gearing up to show our Bulldog spirit as we face off against that team out west! There are several opportunities for students, staff, families, and community members to get involved and show their support.
Here’s how you can join in on the fun and help make a difference:
WHBC Canned Food Drive - Oct. 1st - Oct. 25th
Everyone wins in this fight against hunger, especially the Stark County Hunger Task Force!! The winner will be announced during the 2nd quarter of the big game on Saturday, October 26th at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium. To make a monetary donation for the Bulldogs, CLICK HERE or Bring your non-perishable food items to any CCS school building from October 1st through Noon on Friday, October 25th. PLUS we’ve have community businesses joining the fight against hunger! You can take your non-perishable food items here as well:
The building that collects the most food will receive a special prize. Let’s come together to support our community!
30th Annual McKinley vs. Massillon Blood Battle – Oct. 17th and Oct. 21st 2024.
Which team can rally the most lifesaving donors? The Bulldogs, OF COURSE! Show your school spirit and donate blood to support your team and save local lives. Winners announced by Q92 at the game on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024.

Mascot vs. Mascot Donation Drive - Oct. 1 - Oct. 23
The Meals On Wheels' Wheels for Wags program provides free pet food to senior clients in our neighborhoods. This year, the Bulldogs are collecting dog food, and whichever community brings in the most goods wins! The winner will be announced during the game on October 26th.

Downtown Bulldog Business Challenge - Oct. 21 - Oct. 24th
Businesses in Canton are invited to show their Bulldog pride by decorating their storefronts and offering special promotions.
Restaurants could feature a "Bulldog Burger" or a "Victory Special," while retail shops might host spirit sales or Bulldog-themed displays. Community members can show support by visiting these businesses or even just honking as they pass by! Let’s fill Canton with pride!

It's Spirit Week for all our amazing students, staff, and community members! Let’s come together to celebrate our Bulldog Pride with fun, creativity, and a whole lot of enthusiasm! Dress up, join the fun, and let your spirit shine!
Monday, October 21st: Biker vs. Surfer - Rev up the engines or catch the waves! Which side will you choose?
Tuesday, October 22nd: Flannel Day - School spirit in every square — let’s show our pride with Flannel Everywhere
Wednesday, October 23rd: Disney Day - Dream Big, Bulldogs! It’s Disney Day — Let the Magic Begin
Thursday, October 24th: Sunday Best - Bulldog Pride, Citywide — Dress to Impress in Your Sunday Best
Friday, October 25th: Red & Black Day - Unite in our school colors! Let’s paint the town red and black with pride!
Mayor’s Parade - Friday, October 25, 2024, at 6 PM
Watch as our students take to the streets to celebrate the McKinley community with the Mayor’s Parade at Centennial Plaza on Friday, October 25 at 6 PM. The parade will start at the Nationwide Parking Lot and end at Centennial Plaza.

Massillon vs. McKinley Football Game - Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2 PM
The Bulldogs will take on the Massillon Tigers on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2 PM. Get ready to cheer on McKinley in what promises to be an exciting game.
